John Jackshaw’s first CD adventure is a mix of very live performances, along with creative studio cuts, that
draw on his years behind the radio microphone. Everything on the third rock, and beyond, is fair game for John’s peculiar view of life. You might say, that since he is blind, he sees beyond what most people are able to envision.

With a charismatic stage presence, and original clean material, John is fast making a name for himself as a
top-notch prime time television quality comedian. He can be edgy enough for comedy clubs, while adhering to
his own deliberately clean style that makes him a natural for television, and a perfect fit for virtually any venue.

Whether it’s the news of the day, the foibles of flying, Noah versus Cher, multi-cultural chaos, or outrageous
ramblings about being blind, John finds humor in all of it. Don’t let his mild mannered style fool you. John tackles
the absurdities of society head on, as in “You Bet Your Bladder.”In this sketch comedy track, as game show host Monty Benign, and off-stage announcer big Ed Freem, he satirically slams the greed of medical big business, along with the baseless state of reality television.

John’s humor is everything but PC, as he assaults that slippery slope of sensitivity, which seems to erode the very fabric of our humanity. John Jackshaw proves, over and over, that laughter does strike twice in the same place.
