John's insight reaches far beyond his blindness, disarming all preconceptions of a disability, while instantly connecting and creating a comfort level with his audience in which his blindness is overshadowed by his sharp wit. As an award-winning TV writer and resident political editor of National Lampoon, it's difficult to ignore John's willingness to risk originality, while still having a real understanding of comedic construction. John can be found working clubs, coffeehouses, corporate events and other venues, all over Houston and beyond. John Jackshaw performed a comedy routine for the annual Phi Sigma Alpha convention banquet. We greatly enjoyed his performance and were especially impressed that his was indeed a "clean" comedy routine. I highly recommend john. He was truly professional, easy to work with and very funny.
